F. Charles Frey, IV, PhD
F. Charles Frey, IV, Ph.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has been in practice since 2004. He specializes in psychological and educational assessment of children, adolescents, and adults and is experienced in the evaluation of learning disorders, ADHD and other disruptive behavior disorders, pervasive developmental (autism spectrum) disorders, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. His practice also focuses on psychological evaluation and rehabilitation of individuals suffering from chronic pain problems. In addition to providing pre-procedure and consultative services and treatment in medical settings, he performs forensic psychological evaluations and has been recognized as an expert in clinical psychology by the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans, State of Louisiana. He is the consulting clinical psychologist for the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana. Dr. Frey holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Georgia, where his clinical work focused on psychometric testing and the evaluation and treatment anxiety disorders. He completed his clinical internship at the New Orleans VA Medical Center, with a specialization in the assessment and treatment of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. Dr. Frey has authored several published research articles and served as an instructor in the Department of Psychology at Louisiana State University. He is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Louisiana Psychological Association.
