F. Charles Frey, IV, PhD is a Clinical Psychologist who has been in practice since 2004. He specializes in psychological assessment and treatment of individuals coping with chronic pain, depression, and anxiety (including Posttraumatic Stress Disorder), many of whom have suffered occupational injuries and are being treated through the worker’s compensation system. In addition to performing treatment, Dr. Frey is experienced in conducting second opinion psychological evaluations and providing deposition and trial testimony. He has been recognized as an expert in Clinical Psychology by the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans in Louisiana and the 19th Judicial District Court in Baton Rouge. Dr. Frey has authored research published in peer-reviewed journals and has served as an instructor at Louisiana State University. He holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Georgia and completed his internship at the New Orleans VA Medical Center with a specialization in Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. He is licensed to practice psychology in Louisiana and Mississippi.
