Clinical Psychology
Our clinical psychologists work with you to develop solutions for adults, adolescents, and children struggling with psychological, emotional, school, relationship and other problems. We begin by working to develop a clear understanding of the nature of the problem using the best available assessment methods. Targeted treatment approaches are developed to help you to reach a resolution of your problem.
Medical Psychology
Certain conditions may benefit from or require administration of psychotropic medications in conjunction with other interventions. Our medical psychologists are experienced and trained to assess these conditions and prescribe therapeutic and pharmacological treatments. Evaluation of psychiatric medication and administration where appropriate, can be integral in managing mental, nervous, emotional, behavioral, or cognitive disorders including substance abuse and is an important part of overall health.
Neuropsychology
Brain diseases and trauma can alter brain function. These changes can affect mental faculties, such as concentration and memory, two of the many important abilities needed for our performance in work and life. Our neuropsychologists are specially trained in the assessment and treatment of brain related dysfunction and impairments. Neuropsychological evaluation, a comprehensive evaluation of mental faculties, is an important step in assessing any problems with brain function.
Behavioral Medicine
Medical diseases, physical injury and pain are commonly accompanied by emotional symptoms and difficulties. Our psychologists have special training in the assessment and treatment of emotional difficulties that occur with medical conditions including pain.

Forensic Consultation
Our psychologists and neuropsychologists have served as expert witnesses in state and federal courts in cases involving damages from causes such as: traumatic brain injury, acute and chronic pain, psychological/emotional disorders (depression, anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), emotional problems resulting from toxic exposure, and cognitive impairment including claims of memory, and concentration impairment. RehabilitationSome medical and psychological problems require a more comprehensive approach to help patients overcome symptoms and return to more normal levels of function that includes returns to independence and return to work. Our psychologists can work with other professionals and specialized facilities to coordinate rehabilitation treatments for a variety of problems, such as traumatic brain injury, pain, and spinal cord injuries. |
