Joseph Etherton, PhD
Dr. Joseph Etherton is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who has been in practice in Louisiana for 5 years. He is currently an Associate Professor of Psychology at Loyola University New Orleans, where he teaches and conducts research. His clinical practice includes psychological assessments of injured workers, which is also the primary focus of his program of research. Dr. Etherton has published a number of peer-reviewed papers on psychological factors involved in outcome in work-related injury in journals including Assessment, Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology, and the Spine Journal. Dr. Etherton earned his Master’s degree in Cognitive-Experimental Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Georgia.
