Kevin W. Greve, PhD, ABPP/CN
Dr. Kevin W. Greve holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, awarded in 1991 by the University of Florida, and has been working in the field of psychology, clinical psychology, and clinical neuropsychology for more nearly 30 years. Dr. Greve is licensed Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. He holds Louisiana’s specialty designation in Clinical Neuropsychology. He is a also Diplomate in Clinical Neuropsychology, American Board of Professional Psychology, and a Fellow of the National Academy of Neuropsychology.
Since 1991, Dr. Greve has been a full-time member of the Psychology faculty at the University of New Orleans and am a tenured Professor of Applied Biopsychology. His official title is University Research Professor. Dr. Greve also holds a number of other academic appointments. Dr. Greve regularly teaches neuropsychology, psychological assessment, and related topic areas to undergraduate students and Ph. D. graduate students at the University of New Orleans and to professional neuropsychologists at regional, national, and international conferences.
Part of his activity as a professor and a clinical psychologist involves research. Since 1990, Dr. Greve has published over 110 papers in peer-reviewed neuropsychology, psychology, and medical journals including papers on the assessment of the effects of traumatic brain injury and chronic pain. Dr. Greve is also the author of seven chapters in edited books. Dr. Greve has made over 100 scholarly presentations at state, regional, national, and international conferences. Dr. Greve serves on the editorial board of three psychology journals (The Clinical Neuropsychologist, Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology, and Assessment) and has served as an ad hoc reviewer for several others.
In the course of his clinical practice Dr. Greve conducts approximately 100 psychological evaluations a year, the vast majority involve claims of traumatic brain injury, chronic pain, and/or psychological injury. These cases have been referred by physicians, case managers / adjusters, and attorneys. He has extensive experience with work-related injuries and workers compensation claims. Dr. Greve has been accepted as an expert in clinical neuropsychology and clinical psychology Louisiana and Federal Courts.
